Who we are

In 1968 Don and Barbara Franklin bought their first dealership in the small town of Columbia, KY. 

At the time, they were looking for a way to make an honest living, honor their values and make a good home for their family.  They'd never imagined that 50 years later, the Don Franklin Family of Dealerships would have grown to 20+ dealerships and be the largest dealer group in Kentucky. 

Today, over 50 years later, the Don Franklin group employs over 600 people throughout Kentucky and, with about 4,500+ vehicles, offers the largest selection of new and used vehicles in the state - any one of which we'll deliver free of charge to your nearest Don Franklin dealership.

All that being the case, we still adhere to our core values of being involved and part of our communities and putting "service above self".  You'll have seen evidence of this in the various community activities we sponsor and support - from Lexington Habitat for Humanity, Childhood Development of the Bluegrass, local football and baseball teams; as well as, a wide variety of other charitable activities and causes.
